Culture and Community
2024 Community Investments
The Difference is Community
For more than 100 years, our team members have been driven by a collective desire to make a difference in our community. We show it every day by helping customers reach their financial goals. We also showed it in 2024 by donating $1 million to charitable organizations and volunteering more than 14,000 hours with local nonprofits. As Iowa’s largest independently owned bank, we are committed to helping the communities around us thrive, and we are eager to continue doing so for many years to come.
Premier Workplace
At the heart of our longstanding success is the continuous investment in creating a premier workplace.
We believe that employee engagement and empowerment drive our ability to make a difference to those we serve. It’s a natural part of our culture and embodies our Core Values of Community,
Customers, Employees, Inclusion, and Shareholders.
The results of these efforts were clearly displayed in our 2024 employee engagement survey, which garnered responses from an impressive 98% of team members. This indicates employees believe in our “You Spoke, We Listened” culture.
