Junior Savers Club

Bankers Trust offers the Junior Savers Club to help children up to age 18 develop good saving and money habits. Along with being rewarded for depositing money into their savings accounts, children learn about visiting their local bank and the importance of saving money.

How to Join

Any customer with a Regular Minor Savings account is eligible for the Junior Savers Club. Speak with your banker to enroll your child or grandchild in the program and start collecting stamps.

Benefits of Junior Savers Club

  • No minimum balance on a Regular Minor Savings account
  • No monthly maintenance fees
  • Detailed account statements showing recent transactions and interest earned
  • Interest compounded monthly and paid monthly
  • FDIC insured up to $250,000
  • eVolve package available for customers ages 13-22

How it Works

Children will receive a deposit record where they will be given one stamp for each deposit of $5 or more into their Junior Savers Account. Once 10 stamps have been collected, the child can turn in their deposit record for a prize. Participants are limited to one stamp per day, except on Double Stamp Days.

Double Stamp Days

Bankers Trust offers a chance to earn more stamps in your deposit record by offering Double Stamp Day the third Saturday of each month! On these dates, a deposit of $5 or more is worth two stamps, and children can receive a goodie bag for stopping into their local branch. Children can also earn two stamps and a goodie bag when they bring in their Bankers Trust birthday card.
