Warning Signs of Account Fraud
- Phone calls, text messages, or emails requesting your PIN or internet banking login credentials.
- Unexpected emails containing links or attachments that are unfamiliar or suspicious.
- Unfamiliar or unauthorized transactions on your account.
- Government agencies, businesses, or other entities requiring payment in gift cards or crypto currency.
- Tech companies requesting remote access to your computer quickly followed by a request for you to login to internet banking.
- Notification of a sudden inheritance from an unfamiliar “family member”, lottery or sweepstakes winning for a lottery or sweepstakes you did not enter, or promised high returns on crypto investments that seem too good to be true.
If you have experienced any of the above red flags, follow the tips below to keep your account protected:
- Never share your PIN, login information, or other account information over the phone or via email.
- Do not click on unfamiliar links or attachments in emails you were not expecting.
- Legitimate businesses and government agencies will never ask for payment via crypto currency or gift cards. Stop communications immediately with anyone requesting this type of payment.
- Do not allow remote access to your computer unless you have requested technical assistance from a trusted source. If someone with remote access to your computer asks to you login to internet banking, stop the communication immediately, shut your computer down, and have the computer scanned for viruses and cleaned by a trusted professional.
- Never provide account information to anyone claiming you will be receiving an inheritance, lottery winnings or offering to assist you with high yield crypto currency investments.
Contact your local branch or Customer Service at 1-800-362-1688 if you have questions or concerns.

Verifying Identification
In an effort to help prevent terrorist funding and money laundering, section 326 of the U.S. Patriot Act requires we obtain and verify the identification of all our customers. We are required to confirm your identity and maintain records of all verifications. For this reason, we require two forms of identification to open an account.
Acceptable forms of identification include government-issued photo ID, or other forms of documentation bearing your signature and/or photo. Even if you are already a customer, we may ask for information such as your name, address, date of birth, and other information to confirm your identification.
